Asante Kotoko SC began their pre-season with an impressive 8-0 win over Arthur Football Academy at their Adako Jachie training complex in Kumasi.The Porcupine Warriors dominated the game, showcasing the talents of their new recruits.New recruit Albert Amoah scored twice in the first half, followed by goals from Peter Amidu Acquah, new winger Saaka Dauda, and Baba Yahaya, making it 5-0 in the first half.In the second period, Bernard Somuah Sarpong added the sixth, Sudanese striker AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman Yoouef Yagoub scored the seventh, and trialist Victor Asamoah completed the scoring.This match allowed the coaching staff to evaluate the team’s fitness and tactics ahead of their clash against Medeama SC on August 16, 2024, which will inaugurate the new TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.The convincing victory boosts Kotoko’s confidence as they prepare for their next challenge.
