Ghana coach Yussif Basigi has declared his players “match ready” ahead of their FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup opener against Austria on Monday night.The Black Princesses have been in Colombia since August 14, allowing them to acclimatize and fine-tune their preparations for the tournament.Basigi’s team enters the match following two crucial friendly draws—a 2-2 tie against South Korea and a goalless draw with Mexico.These matches provided valuable experience as they gear up for their seventh consecutive World Cup appearance."The players are match ready because this is what they have been waiting for and the time has come," Basigi emphasised."Looking at the enthusiasm amongst the technical staff, they are also ready because the players are looking up to us.
