Fulham rallies behind former player John Paintsil after car accident in Ghana

Fulham have shown support to its former defender John Paintsil who survived an accident in Ghana follower an assignment as a technical team member of the Black Stars.Paintsil, one of Ghana's assistant coaches together with head coach Otto Addo and Fatau Dauda the goalkeepers' trainer sere involved in an accident on their way back from Tarkwa t0 Accra.Their vehicle, a land cruiser was seriously damaged after the collision with a pick-up truck.A statement from the Ghana Football Association indicated that the people in the car survived with no serious injuries but were being attended to as a pre-cautionary measure.Fulham wrote on X, "Wishing John Paintsil a speedy recovery!" Wishing John Paintsil a speedy recovery! 🤍 https://t.co/mzsGfdoRov pic.twitter.com/ipmpUYZFmB— Fulham Football Club (@FulhamFC) September 2, 2024The technical team are expected to begin supervision of the Black Stars training in Accra before the move to Kumasi for their 202 Afrixca Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Angola which comes of Thursday.
