Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has underscored the importance of high-quality football facilities to boost his team’s performance as they prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, August 29, Addo expressed concerns over the current state of the pitch at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. He highlighted that a well-maintained pitch is essential for the team to execute their game plan effectively.“It is concerning because, to play the way we want, we need a good pitch. Discussions are ongoing about how we can improve the situation. We want our players to excel, which means we must ensure the pitch is prepared as well as possible,” Addo stated.The Ghana coach also called for a broader investment in football infrastructure across the country.
