Ghana U-20 Star Emmanuel Mensah joins Norwegian side Sogndal

Norwegian club Sogndal has officially signed Emmanuel Mensah, a promising 18-year-old Ghana U20 attacker, on a contract running until 2027.Mensah, born on June 18, 2005, is known for his versatility in the attacking third, capable of playing across various roles.After joining Sogndal on a trial basis at the end of July, Mensah quickly impressed the coaching staff with his performances in training, leading to a permanent deal."Emmanuel has been with us for a few weeks, and I have been impressed by his speed and technique," said Sogndal head coach Tore André Flo, a former Chelsea star."He’s a young and exciting player who mainly operates on the wings but can also play centrally. We’re delighted to have him at Sogndal."Mensah began his football journey at Koforidua Semper Fi Football Club in Ghana’s second division and has been involved with Ghana's U20 national team.His addition is expected to strengthen Sogndal’s attacking options for future campaigns.
