Man City defender Josko Gvardiol confesses to struggling against Mohammed Kudus

Manchester City's Croatian defender, Josko Gvardiol has named Ghanaian attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus as the toughest player he has faced in the English Premier League. Gvardiol and Kudus arrived in England in the same summer after both players impressed with their countries at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The City star helped Croatia finished third in Qatar while Kudus was Ghana's best player at the tournament, with two goals and an assist.During their time in England, the duo have faced off a number of times and while City have won both games, Gvardiol laboured to keep Kudus at bay.“Mohammed Kudus from West Ham was my toughest opponent,” Gvardiol said during a podcast interview.“In the first game, he was on the bench, and when he came on for the last twenty minutes, he was on my side. I realized that he was quite good. He looks sharp and was good on the ball. In the second game of the season, he even scored a bicycle kick. He was the one I struggled against," he confessed.On Saturday, Kudus had another good game against the Citizens despite West Ham suffering a 3-1 defeat at the London Olympic Stadium.
