Ghanaian forward Eddie Nketiah joins Crystal Palace from Arsenal

English-Ghanaian striker Eddie Nketiah has completed a move to Crystal Palace from Arsenal for a fee of around £30 million. The 25-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Eagles, marking him as their fifth summer signing. This transfer follows the deadline-day acquisition of French defender Maxence Lacroix, who joined for £18 million.Nketiah expressed his excitement about joining Crystal Palace, stating, "It's amazing to sign for Crystal Palace – I'm excited to get going. Every time I come back to South London, it always puts a smile on my face, so it's good to be back home."Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish welcomed Nketiah with enthusiasm: "It's brilliant to welcome Eddie, a senior England international, back to South London. We are delighted he has signed for Crystal Palace. I am confident that his energy, talent, and hunger to succeed will endear him to his new teammates and supporters alike."Nketiah began his career at Arsenal after moving from Chelsea's youth setup at age 14, scoring 38 goals in 168 appearances for the Gunners.
