Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Abalora has expressed his excitement after completing a move to Albanian club AF Elbasani.The 28-year-old former Asante Kotoko shot-stopper joins the newly promoted club on a permanent deal as a free agent.Abalora shared his enthusiasm about the new challenge on social media, writing on X (formerly Twitter), "New home. Delighted to be here and be part of this wonderful club. The hard work never stops. #BestNeverRest."Abalora played a key role in Petrocub’s success last season, helping them clinch their first-ever Moldovan top-flight title.The goalkeeper made 13 appearances, recording six clean sheets and conceding just seven goals throughout the campaign.He had previously signed for Petrocub after a successful spell at FC Sheriff Tiraspol, where he won three trophies and kept 17 clean sheets in 24 matches.Before moving to Moldova, Abalora had an impressive career with Kotoko, after spending time with Tanzanian side Azam FC.The former WAFA SC player also has four international caps for Ghana.Elbasani will be counting on his experience and leadership as they navigate their debut season in Albania’s top league.
