The Black Stars of Ghana trained at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Tuesday in preparation for their upcoming match against Angola in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).Ghana is set to host Angola this Thursday, September 5, 2024, marking the first game in their AFCON qualifying campaign.On Monday, 10 players reported to camp and participated in the team's initial training session at the Accra Sports Stadium.Following this, the squad moved to Kumasi, where they continued their preparations.Reports indicate that 22 players are currently in camp. Among those who trained on Tuesday were Frederick Asare, Joseph Wollacott, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Thomas Partey, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Ebenezer Annan, Jonas Adjetey, Tariq Lamptey, and Ibrahim Osman.Additional players in camp include Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Inaki Williams, Joseph Paintsil, Abdul Mumin, Jerome Opoku, Kingsley Schindler, Alidu Seidu, Majeed Ashimeru, Abu Francis, Mohammed Salisu, Forson Amankwah, and Mohammed Kudus.After the match against Angola, Ghana will travel to Morocco to face Niger in their second group game. The team is focused on making a strong start in their quest for AFCON 2025 qualification.
