Issah Abdallah takes temporary charge of King Faisal

King Faisal has confirmed that assistant coach Issah Abdallah will temporarily take charge of the team following the departure of Barnabas Awuni.The decision to part ways was mutually agreed upon after the team’s narrow 1-0 loss to Swedru All Blacks on December 22nd, 2024.In an official statement released on the club’s social media, King Faisal announced: "We can confirm that we have mutually parted ways with head coach Barnabas Awuni. Assistant Issah Abdallah has been put in acting capacity until the employment of a new substantive head coach."Coach Awuni bids farewell to the club with an impressive record of 9 unbeaten matches in 12 competitions this season. Under his guidance, King Faisal, known as the Insha Allah boys, currently sit 8th in the Division One League Ghana Zone Two standings, with 11 points after 10 matches.Abdallah will now look to guide the team through this transition phase as they seek to regroup and strengthen their campaign.
