"I can't wait"- Ghanaian forward Augustine Boakye excited after completing Saint Etienne move

Ghanaian forward Augustine Boakye has shared his excitement after joining French Ligue 1 returnees AS Saint Etienne in the summer transfer window. The 23-year-old signed a four-year deal to join the Greens from Austrian outfit Wolfsberger AC.The former West Africa Football Academy winger has joined his new teammates for pre-season as preparations begin for the new campaign.Boakye is eager to meet the fans and insists he can't wait to get started in Ligue 1."Joining AS Saint-Étienne to discover the French championship is a source of pride. Ligue 1 is a championship that I have always followed and ASSE is an emblematic club. I was able to talk with my friend, Lucas Gourna, who told me a lot of good things about it! I can't wait to discover this great club from the inside and meet its many supporters!" he told the club's official website.The nimble-footed midfielder scored ten goals and delivered seven assists in the Austrian league last season.
