Angola coach Pedro Goncalves has expressed his hope for a fair encounter against Ghana in the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.The Palancas Negras will face the Black Stars in their first match of the qualifiers at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 2.Reflecting on previous encounters with the four-time African champions, Gonçalves mentioned that both games in the last qualifiers were closely contested and balanced.He emphasised the need for a fair game and called on the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to ensure proper oversight during the match."Both games in the last qualifiers were very balanced so I guess we have our chances this time and I hope we will have a good game in Kumasi because the last time, a lot of things happened. So, I hope CAF opens their eyes because a lot happened and Ghana doesn’t need to be in that situation.
