CAF Confederation Cup: Nsoatreman drawn against Chadian giants Elect Sport in preliminary round

Nsoatreman FC have been drawn against Chadian giants Elect Sport FC in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup 2024-25 campaign.The Ghana FA Cup winners got the nod to represent the country after winning the competition for the very first time following a victory over Bofoakwa Tano FC.The draw ceremony took place at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, on Thursday, July 11, 2024.Nsoatreman will begin their continental adventure at home when they host Elect Sport in the first leg of the round before travelling away for the second leg.The Nsuatre-based club have adopted the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi and the Accra Sports Stadium for the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.The preliminary round will take place in August, and the winner of the tie will face the winner between Algerian side CS Constantine and Police FC of Rwanda in the second round in September.
