U-20 Women's World Cup: GFA delivers message of support to Black Princesses

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reaffirmed its commitment to the Black Princesses as they prepare for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo and Deputy General Secretary Alex Sakyi Asante led a delegation to the team's camp in Cape Coast to express the unwavering support of the GFA and the government."We are here on an official visit to let you (the team) know we are fully behind you. We know that with the hard work you have put in, you’ll go and make Ghana proud on the world stage," Addo assured the team.He emphasized the GFA's commitment to providing the necessary support for a successful campaign: "You have the full support of the Football Association and the Government as you embark on this journey. We have put in place measures to make sure you have a smooth preparation."The GFA delegation, which included other officials and committee members, was met with gratitude from head coach Yussif Basigi, who thanked them for their continued support.The Black Princesses will kick off their World Cup campaign against Austria on September 2. They will also face Japan and New Zealand.
