Ghana forward Jordan Ayew continued his rich run of form in pre-season after netting for the second game running as Crystal Palace defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Stateside Cup in the United States. The 32-year-old forward joined his teammates for the pre-season tour of America despite huge interest from Premier League returnees Leicester City.Ayew, who is believed to have fallen the pecking order at Palace following his limited role since Oliver Glasner's appointment as coach, could leave Selhurst this summer.However, his form in pre-season could force the club to keep him as he starred in the 3-1 victory over Wolves with a goal and an assist.Compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp opened the scoring in the first half after firing from outside the box following a mistake by Wolves' goalkeeper.Ayew doubled the lead after coming on in the second half, collecting a long pass from goalkeeper Dean Henderson before firing home,Wolves reduced the deficit in the 90th minute through Santiago Bueno but Ayew had time to create the third after finding Asher Agbinone for the final goal.
