Nsoatreman clarify Maxwell Konadu exit
Nsoatreman FC owner Dr Ignatius Baffour Awuah clarified rumours surrounding coach Maxwell Konadu's departure to South Africa's Black Leopards.At the unveiling of the new head coach, Yaw Preko, Dr. Awuah addressed reports that Konadu left abruptly."I want to state clearly that it isn’t true that Coach Maxwell Konadu left us without prior notice," he said."He came to me and indicated to me what his plans are and I gave him my blessing.""I even asked him to help in the search for his replacement so us getting a new coach was done with the help of Maxwell Konadu," he added.Konadu's tenure at Nsoatreman was successful, bringing them the FA Cup trophy and a strong fourth-place finish in the Ghana Premier League.Yaw Preko will now lead the team in their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup debut season.
