Nsoatreman FC owner Ignatius Baffour Awuah has addressed rumours about Maxwell Konadu's departure to the South African club Black Leopards.Konadu, after winning the MTN FA Cup, moved to South Africa, but there were claims that his departure was unamicable, which Awuah has denied."I want to state it clearly that it's never true Maxwell Konadu left the club without informing us," Awuah emphasised."He came to me and indicated to me what his plans are, and I offered him my blessings.""We all desire to advance in life, so I agreed to his move," Awuah continued."I don't want anyone to begrudge him. There is no bad blood between Nsoatreman and Maxwell Konadu. I even gave him a task to help us find someone who can fill the void. Today, if we have a new coach, I can tell you Maxwell Konadu was involved."The club have now appointed former Hearts of Oak assistant coach Yaw Preko.The former Ghana international will lead Nsoatreman in their maiden CAF Confederation Cup campaign, aiming to make a splash on their debut appearance in continental competition.
