Nsoatreman FC owner reveals Maxwell Konadu's role in appointing new coach Yaw Preko

Nsoatreman FC owner Ignatius Baffour Awuah has revealed the positive role Maxwell Konadu played in the appointment of Yaw Preko as the club's new head coach.The announcement came during Preko's official unveiling on Monday, where Awuah addressed rumors concerning Konadu's departure to Black Leopards in South Africa."I want to state it clear that it's never true Maxwell Konadu left the club without informing us," Awuah emphasised."He came to me and indicated his plans, and I offered him my blessings."Awuah further highlighted the amicable nature of the separation: "We all desire to advance in life, so I agreed to his move. There is no bad blood between Nsoatreman and Maxwell Konadu."He went on to explain Konadu's involvement in the selection process: "I even gave him the task of finding someone who can fill the void. Today, if we have a new coach, I can tell you Maxwell Konadu was involved."Preko now takes the reins at Nsoatreman, tasked with leading the club in their first-ever CAF Confederation Cup appearance next season.
