Andre Ayew lauds contributions of Matthew Amoah at NAC Breda

Ghanaian forward Andre Dede Ayew has lauded the contributions of his compatriot and former international teammate Matthew Amoah, calling his work at Dutch Eredivisie side NAC Breda and with Ghana's Black Stars "great".Ayew, who joined Breda earlier this month until the end of the 2025/26 season, made the comments during an interview with the club. Speaking alongside Amoah, who now serves as a coach at the club, Ayew emphasized the value of having a seasoned guide at his new team."I think what he has done for this club and what he has done in his career in the national team is great," Ayew said. He highlighted Amoah's role in helping him settle quickly, stating, "For me today to be here with him... is only beneficial to have a big brother here because he can guide me, make me… adapt very quickly. For me, it’s all beneficial, and I’m very lucky to have him here."The reunion brings together two generations of Ghanaian football.
