Matthew Amoah downplays role in Andre Ayew's Breda move

Black Stars legend Matthew Amoah has downplayed suggestions that he was the driving force behind compatriot Andre Ayew's move to Dutch Eredivisie club NAC Breda, attributing the transfer to the club's own scouting and assessment.Amoah, who is now a member of the technical staff at Breda, spoke to club media following Ayew's arrival as a free agent on a deal running until the end of the season. He dismissed widespread rumours that his presence was the key factor, stating his influence was minimal."Maybe it was like 10 per cent. Even me, I was surprised when they told me," Amoah admitted.
