Belleville woman charged with impaired driving and drug possession

A Belleville woman has been charged with impaired driving and drug possession. Officers were called to a west-end address around 5 p.m. on Wednesday for the report of a female who was unconscious behind the wheel of a motor vehicle while it was running.   Police requested that paramedics attend as well in case it was a medical emergency.   A police officer with specific training as a drug recognition expert attended and continued the investigation.   Marisha Bentley, 30 was charged with operation while impaired and possession of a Schedule 1 controlled substance.   She was issued a 90-day licence suspension and her...
