A Belleville teen had his licence suspended after he was clocked at almost double the speed limit in the city early Friday morning. At 1:07am, Belleville Police were conducting traffic enforcement in the city’s north end. An officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on HIghway 62. A 17-year-old male from Foxboro was stopped for travelling 153 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone. His driver’s license was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days. He was issued a Provincial Offence Summons with a court date in March for stunt driving. ...
