Quinte West Council reflects on Jack Arthur

Quinte West Council took the time to recognize and mourn the death of the amalgamated municipality’s first mayor on Wednesday. At their bi-monthly meeting, current mayor Jim Harrison and councillors provided their condolences to Jack Arthur and his family. Arthur, who died at the age of 84 on Jan. 21, was referred to as a ‘respectful and sincere gentleman’ and a strong, knowledgeable advocate for the region.
