Sens edge Marlies thanks in part to Crookshank’s milestone goal

Meeting number eight of 10 of the AHL’s Battle of Ontario on Friday at CAA Arena went to the Belleville Senators in a thrilling and scrappy contest. The Sens nudged the Toronto Marlies off by a 3-2 score in the first half of a home-and-home set. The Sens got going offensively thanks to their current hottest scorer, with the reigning AHL Player of the Week (eight points in two games), Jan Jenik, opened the scoring by stepping out from behind the Marlies net and sliding a shot to the far corner on Dennis Hildeby for his 10th of the season....
