Belleville man arrested for refusing to supply breath sample

A 46-year-old Belleville man will be in court next month to answer to a charge of refusing to provide a breath sample. Around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, city police stated it received a call about a suspicious vehicle at Zwicks Park. Officers located the vehicle and spoke to the driver, detecting an odour of an alcoholic beverage on the driver’s breath. The male driver then reportedly refused to provide a breath sample upon demand and was promptly arrested. Ryan James Quart was charged and later released with a April 24 court date. ...
