Special Weather Statement in Quinte Sunday, Mar. 16

A Special Weather Statement has been issued in Belleville, Quinte West and Eastern Northumberland County for tomorrow (Sunday, Mar. 16). Wind gusts of 60 to 80 km/h and total rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 mm are possible. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall. It is expected to begin early Sunday morning through Sunday afternoon, with the risk of thunderstorms. Localized flooding in low-lying areas and water pooling on roads are possible.
