Belleville Council remembers Manderville, fire captains

Belleville Mayor Neil Ellis and Council had their first opportunity to recognize the life and political career of Kay Manderville at its meeting Monday. The group held a moment of silence for the former long-time Belleville councillor, who passed away last Tuesday, Jan. 7 at the age of 90 after battling Parkinson’s Disease. Manderville served on council from 1988 to 2003, where she championed various causes while also sitting on several committees, including Planning, Heritage, and Social Services.
