Kingston Police investigate assault with a weapon at local shelter

Kingston Police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect from Orillia after someone was attacked with a knife at a shelter in the city. Monday morning at approximately 8:50 a.m. members of the Kingston Police Patrol Division responded to a report of an assault with a weapon at a local shelter located on Cowdy Street. The victim was treated at scene for non-life-threatening injuries caused by a knife. As a result of a subsequent investigation, 42-year-old Ryan Tonello of Orilla, Ontario is currently wanted by Kingston Police for assault with a weapon and possession of weapons dangerous. His...
