Pedestrian hit by car, Kingston teen life claimed

A pedestrian has been pronounced deceased after being struck by a vehicle on Rosedale Road, in South Frontenac Township. Just after 5:30 pm on January 04, 2025, Frontenac OPP members, assisted by South Frontenac Fire Rescue, and Frontenac Paramedics responded to a vehicle collision that happened on Rosedale Road, which is just north of the village of Sydenham. A commercial express van was traveling along the road and struck a pedestrian who was walking in the same direction. A 15-year-old male, from Kingston was pronounced deceased at the scene by Paramedics. A second pedestrian received minor injuries and was transported...
