Hastings County takes 2024 Mayor’s Challenge at Trillium Wood

Hastings County brought home the trophy and the bragging rights at this year’s Mayor’s Challenge Golf Tournament. The warm weather couldn’t dampen the strong support of the community as the course at Trillium Wood in Belleville was packed. The event brought together leadership teams from five local communities (Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County, Hastings County and 8-Wing CFB Trenton) to raise money for Community Living Belleville and Area. Officials say last year’s event brought in around $31,000 and with an additional silent auction and a few extras, they are confident that this year (the 40th edition of the event) easily...
