New Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Base opens in Stirling

Representatives from senior levels of government were on hand for the opening and ribbon-cutting at the new Hastings-Quinte paramedics base in Stirling on Monday.  The new facility includes a training facility for staff development, logistics and maintenance workspaces and a decontamination bay for ambulances, among other essential features. “The opening of this base is an exciting milestone for Hastings County,” stated CAO Connor Dorey. “Like all healthcare services across the province, our paramedic service has seen a large increase in calls for service since the pandemic.
