Marilyn Lawrie announces retirement from local Humane Society

Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward (HSHPE) has announced the retirement of its executive director, Marilyn Lawrie, effective October 1, 2024. Lawrie has served in the position at HSHPE since fall of 2020 and led the organization through its rebranding and the building of its new shelter, completed in 2022.
