Excitement is in the air for CFB Trenton officials and community members alike as the long-anticipated Quinte International Air Show draws closer. 8 Wing Commander Col. Leighton James and the military base held a media day event on a sunny, blue-sky Friday ahead of the two-day flight extravaganza this Canada Day weekend. The two-day event features high-flying Canadian acts such as the Snowbirds and Skyhawks and CF-18 Hornet Demo Team, with one of the main attractions being a performance from the Frecce Tricolori, Italy's Air Force Demonstration Team.
