Beyond the Headlines - Tom and Golda Lafferty

Two people who are tireless advocates for many local causes will be given the wings they so richly deserve next spring. Yesterday, The Children's Foundation announced that Tom and Golda Lafferty were their 2025 Guardian Angels to be honoured at the Guardian Angel Gala on March 1st. Children's Foundation Executive Director Melanie Cressman called the Laffertys 'the essence of community.' Truer words were never spoken. Golda and Tom have supported several worthy causes like the Children's Safety Village, Three Oaks Women's Shelter, Belleville General Hospital, YMCA Strong Kids campaign and United Way, while also raising money for those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer's....
