New place space for kids opens in Cobble Hill

A new area to help kids create an imaginative play area and foster a sense of inclusion will be opened to the public starting next week.  According to Evergreen Independent School in Cobble Hill, the new space is a collaboration with members of the Timber Framers Guild and is designed to meet the needs of all students and community members.  Public relations and marketing committee member Kristy Cline says in an email the new project will provide several opportunities for kids to grow and learn and will be a great addition to the area.  “The 100-foot-long ramp will take children on a magical journey from high seas adventures to treetop explorations, for musical and sensory play along the way,” she says. “This unique, inclusive play space will be a remarkable addition to our community.”  A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled to take place on July 20, at Evergreen Independent School, and Cline says they’re inviting everyone to be part of the exciting milestone.  The post New place space for kids opens in Cobble Hill  appeared first on My Cowichan Valley Now.
