The Belleville Beast Swim Team will have at least two gold medals coming home with them from Toronto after this weekend. 16-year-old Bayside Secondary School student Francis Brennan secured a pair of golds in the Men’s 100-metre backstroke and 50-metre freestyle events at the Summer Ontario Swimming Championships. He clinched gold with a time of 57.94s in the backstroke, more than a second over the next closest competitor and followed that up with a 23.93s mark in the 50-metre freestyle.
