The Children's Safety Village will be having its Helmet Giveaway Day, rain or shine, on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. A number of groups and businesses have come together to make this event possible, including Bonn Law, Doug's Bicycles and the Brain Injury Association Quinte District. The giveaway will run while quantities last and helmets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis with expert fitting available on site. This is the third Helmet Giveaway Day for the Children's Safety Village, who have had bicycle safety programs for nearly two decades....
