Ontario's Minister of Education and Bay of Quinte MPP Todd Smith has resigned. Smith made the announcement in an email on Friday morning. "After almost 13 years as a Member of Provincial Parliament and six years in Premier Ford's Cabinet I have made the very difficult decision to leave politics and accept a position in the private sector," Smith wrote.
