Vehicle damaged in confrontation, man arrested

A confrontation in Belleville resulted in damaged to a vehicle and charges on Thursday afternoon. A report to police stated the damage was done at a Bridge Street West parking lot around 4:30 p.m., resulting from a confrontation between ex-partners. During an argument – which included the vehicle owner, her new boyfriend and her ex-boyfriend – her former partner reportedly kicked her vehicle, causing a large dent. Police say the male suspect was arrested a couple of hours later, charged with domestic mischief and released on an undertaking with a September court date.
