It was 1972 when Al Whitney and Don Douglas opened Sidney Inn Carpet on Moira Street in Belleville. Greg and Debbie Johnson purchased the business in 1989 and later, the name changed to Carpet One. The business moved to its present location at 285 Coleman street in 1999. Greg and Debbie’s, eldest son, Andrew, joined as a second-generation owner in 2018.
