Transport fire briefly slows down w/b 401 approaching Napanee

It was slow going for about half an hour on the westbound 401 approaching Napanee on Thursday. Lennox and Addington OPP reported shortly after 3 pm that they were on the scene of a transport fire on the 401 w/b just west of the Odessa exit in Loyalist Township. The highway was reduced to one lane for about 30 minutes. There were no injuries, but some damage to the transport trailer tires. Some delays were reported in the area, but both lanes were reported clear by 3:45 pm....
