North Cowichan opens annual Climate Action Community Grants

Organizations in the Cowichan Valley can now apply for this year’s Climate Action Community Grants.  These grants are part of North Cowichan’s Climate Action and Energy Plan and are offered every year for projects that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  Past funds have supported projects that saw the installations of heat pumps, a biodiesel pump and the construction of a Food Innovation Hub.  To apply your organization must be a registered society or association and the deadline to apply is September 15th.
