Prince Edward County OPP reminding citizens to lock it or lose it

Within the last week, in various location in Prince Edward County, citizens have reported that their bank cards have been stolen out of their vehicles and used to make purchases; losses totaling approximately $3000. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is encouraging citizens to "Lock It OR Lose It" to protect their vehicle contents from theft.  Under the "Lock It OR Lose It" program, parked vehicles are examined to confirm they are locked and that no valuables have been left in plain view. A "Lock It OR Lose It" notice is placed on every vehicle checked to indicate what safety precautions were...
