Man stabbed in targeted attack in Quinte West

Quinte West OPP officers are investigating a serious assault where a man was stabbed in Quinte West. Officers were called to an apartment on King Street shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. A 34-year-old male was located with stab wounds and was transported by Hastings Quinte Paramedics to a regional trauma centre. The suspect in the incident had fled the scene. An extensive search of the area, by Quinte West officers, the OPP Emergency Response Unit and the OPP Canine Unit, did not locate the individual.
