Indigenous program showing success at Loyalist College

An educational opportunity at Loyalist College that can have a significant impact on reconciliation is being presented in Quinte West. Executive Director of Indigenous Initiatives and Reconciliation at the college’s Indigenous Centre Jennifer ‘Tewathahá:kwa' Maracle provided an update regarding the "4 Seasons of Reconciliation Education Program” to council on Wednesday. The program, which launched in January of this year, consists of interactive modules that provide a comprehensive look into the historical and current relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. “Since we've launched this program at Loyalist College, almost every staff member has completed the modules,” Maracle explained. “They've also taken...
