Northumberland OPP have charged an individual with multiple offences following an initial traffic stop over the long weekend. On September 1, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m., OPP were conducting radar enforcement on Highway 401 in the Municipality of Brighton. A pick-up truck was observed travelling eastbound at a speed of 151 km/h in a posted 110 km/h limit. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver pulled over.
