The County of Prince Edward has taken the next steps in its major overhaul of the water and wastewater treatment systems in Wellington. In a recorded vote of 14-0 on Tuesday night council unanimously awarded a $1.4 million contract to CIMA Canada Inc. to design the new $25 million Wellington Wastewater Treatment Plant. Council also approved a bylaw to award the $2.5 million design contract for the Regional Water Treatment Plant to EVB Engineering.
