An event featuring the leaders of several local communities really brought in the green for an organization that supports people with intellectual disabilities in Quinte. Officials with Community Living Belleville and Area announced on Tuesday that they raised $33,571 at this year’s 40th Annual Mayors’ Challenge Golf Tournament at Trillium Wood Golf Course. The event features teams from Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County, Hastings County and CFB Trenton competing in a friendly rivalry to raise money and awareness.
