Residents heard loud and clear regarding Wellington water infrastructure projects

Concerns about what some residents of Wellington viewed as a ‘reckless’ and ‘unprecedented’ project were voiced loud and clear inside Highline Hall Tuesday evening. County Council took what a large vocal group of community stakeholders and citizens had to say into account as they pushed back on a tender award contract and design services award agreement for the Wellington Sanitary Sewer Pumping Station and Regional Water Treatment Plant projects, respectively, at council’s meeting.
