If you’re a Lake of Bays resident and have been waiting for a chance to discuss the roads license agreement that was put in place earlier this summer, you will soon have your chance. Lake of Bays council will hold a special public meeting to discuss the agreement on Sept. 9, at 1 p.m. Officials say interested parties are invited to attend in person or participate virtually via Zoom. They add an open floor will be available for those wishing to speak (maximum 5 minutes). Written comments can also be submitted to the Clerk at csykes@lakeofbays.on.ca. During the Aug. 13 general council meeting, council agreed to give 180-day moratorium to the residents to provide feedback on the agreement and intends to consider it before the moratorium ends.
